Engaged Recipients

What are Engaged Recipients?

Engaged Recipients are the specific members of staff within the schools that you targeted that engaged with your email campaign on a 'higher level' by either choosing to download the email’s images and/or clicking one/several of the links within the email.

For each email campaign sent (and presuming you have included Engaged Recipients within our order), you will have access to a list of all of these people.

From this list, you can select up to 1,000 of the Engaged Recipients from each email campaign and access their contact details (name, job role, direct at-work email address, and selected school fields) for you to use internally for your follow-up and sales enablement strategies.

Once exported, you take ownership of this data. The data is exported into CSV format.

If you generate more than 1,000 interested teachers from a campaign you can purchase those additional ones at £400 per 1,000.

Is the data mine to keep?

Yes, you can use the data to follow up your leads going forwards. However, the data cannot be passed out or sold on to any other third parties by you. It can also not be used by you to promote any third-party products/services. You should also have a Legitimate Interest Assessment in place before accessing the data.

What data fields are included when I export my Engaged Recipients?

The following fields are provided in your export:

  • Email
  • Number of Opens
  • Number of Clicks
  • Establishment Name
  • Name
  • Responsibilities (note we now list all responsibilities for teachers)
  • Telephone
  • Address 1
  • Address 2
  • Address 3
  • Town
  • County
  • Postcode
  • Local Authority
  • Establishment Type
  • URN
  • Number on Roll

Why are some job roles included in my report when they are not part of my target audience?

Education staff members often have more than one responsibility within a school. For example, a Deputy Head Teacher might also be a PE Teacher, or a Business Manager might also be the Pupil Premium Coordinator.

If you spot a job role listed in your Engaged Recipients that does not fit the specific roles you aimed to target with your email campaign, it will be because that listed contact will have more than one job role within our database and although not displayed, one of their job roles will fit at least one of the job roles that you do need to target.

E.g. Based on the above examples, if I was targeting PE Teachers to promote my new PE Curriculum software solution, the Deputy Head Teacher would be targeted (as they are also a PE Teacher), but their job role might be listed as Deputy Head Teacher in the engaged recipients list.

How do you calculate the default list order of my recommended Engaged Recipients to export?

We have built an algorithm that analyses how your target audience is engaging with your email campaign. It measures engagement based on quantity, frequency, and timings of opens and clicks, whilst discounting any suspected Bots.

Based on this algorithm your Engaged Recipients will be displayed in the order of the ones that our algorithm deems the most engaged for you to select and export with ease.

However, you do not have to export based on our recommended Engaged Recipients. Instead, you have the option to filter and select from your full list the specific people that you want to export.

Why can I only export up to 1,000 Engaged Recipients?

As part of your order you have only paid to access up to 1,000 Engaged Recipients. If your campaign has performed really well and you have more than 1,000 Engaged Recipients in your list, then you can upgrade to access more than 1,000 if you wish. Get in touch to find out more.

Why is there a deadline to export my Engaged Recipients?

The older data becomes the more out of date it becomes. It is important that you only use up to date data in your marketing efforts so once your engaged recipients become a certain age you will be unable to export them.
